FRESH MINDS, SIGNATURE PROJECT
Our signature project, Fresh Minds, is dedicated to promoting access to healthy food and nutritional education for families living in Jacksonville’s Health Zone 1.
Each month, we distribute meal kits to 60 families at Sanctuary on 8th Street and 20 families at Sulzbacher Village. These kits contain all the necessary ingredients for families to cook a healthy, delicious meal together at home.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
We take pride in making a positive impact in our local community. Last year alone, we donated more than 1,800 volunteer hours through Fresh Minds, and others such as Habitat for Humanity, Girls on the Run, Girl Scouts, Ronald McDonald, Arc Jacksonville, to name a few.
Through our Fresh Minds program, we have been able to deliver over 47,000 meals to local families.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Our organization offers professional development through a variety of leadership positions, from committee level all the way up to Board of Directors. In addition, our core training programs focus on personal and professional development, mentorship, and nonpartisan public policy advocacy propelling our members and their impact far beyond our organization.
