David McGowan became President and CEO of WJCT Public Media in 2018 and brings a wide range of experience to the job. He has had senior roles in media and telecom companies in Europe, including London, Zurich, and Cologne, Germany, and most recently served as CEO of Invitel, one of Hungary’s largest telecom companies, in Budapest.

Prior to his work in Europe, he served as a news executive with Time Magazine in New York and in public television in Washington, where programs under his leadership won every major award in American broadcasting.

He has served on the boards of several companies and non-profits, and is currently an advisor to The National Digital Infrastructure Fund, a private equity investor in the next generation of digital infrastructure in the UK with the backing of the British government.

He and his wife live on the Southbank in Jacksonville.

4.   Pretzel Chips- low sodium
5.   Kellogg’s Cereal Bowl– low sugar low sodium- highest ranked is frosted flakes (whole wheat version) and Froot Loops (low sugar version)
6.   Go Gurts! All flavors- make sure you grab from the shelf and not the refrigerated section
7.   Flavored Craisins & shelf-stable yogurt (often called hikers or backpacker yogurt)
8.   Lowfat Cheese sticks- cheddar and swiss
9.   Dragon Juice boxes, 100% fruit juice boxes
10.   Veggie Crisps, Bada Bean, Chick Peaz, etc. no hot flavors, either roasted light salt or ranch

Personal hygiene Items:
1.   Sunscreen
2.   Chapstick (nonwax version, coconut oil please)
3.   Toothbrush with toothpaste
4.   Deodorant
5.   Body Cleansing Wipes
6.   Face and Body Lotion
7.   Antibacterial hand wash

School Supplies/Gifts:
1.   Crayola Crayons, colored pencils, markers!
2.   New Reading Books Grades PK-5- if you choose to do this I can send you a list
3.   Fun Pens, and Fun Pencils with crazy erasers
