JAX Chamber's 23rd Annual Military Appreciation Breakfast will celebrate Jacksonville's outstanding active duty, military veterans and retired military personnel. This breakfast is a Chamber tradition, honoring the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, and the many veterans living in Northeast Florida.

Keynote Speaker:
Rear Admiral Carlos Sardiello
Commander, FOURTH Fleet
Rear Adm. Carlos Sardiello, a native of Fremont, California, is a 1990 U.S. Naval Academy graduate with advanced degrees in Computer Science and National Security and Strategic Studies. A graduate of U.S. Navy Test Pilot School (Class 115) and a 2021 MIT Seminar XXI Fellow, he has over 2,800 flight hours and 500+ carrier landings across a 29-year flying career. His operational assignments include flying the S-3B Viking aboard USS Nimitz and USS Constellation, commanding Patrol Squadron 46, and serving in forward-deployed roles in Japan and Italy. He was executive officer on USS George Washington, commanding officer of USS Mount Whitney and USS Theodore Roosevelt, and commanded Carrier Strike Group ONE during an Indo-Pacific deployment from May 2022 to June 2024. He made history on March 26, 2003, with the only S-3B Viking air-to-ground missile strike. Ashore, he served as an instructor, Joint Staff action officer, executive assistant to Commander Naval Air Forces, and director of Joint and Fleet Operations at U.S. Fleet Forces Command. He became commander of U.S. FOURTH Fleet in August 2024 and is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medal, and the 2008 Commander Naval Air Forces Leadership Award.
