HCA FL Memorial Crush the Crisis Results! |

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital today saw 132 people drive-through and drop off prescription medications that were packed into 11 boxes weighing a total of 380.25 pounds of unused or expired medications - as part of Crush the Crisis - a partnership between HCA Florida Healthcare, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and DEA in support of national drug prescription take back day. That’s almost 400 pounds of unwanted drugs taken off our streets today! Folks that dropped off prescription medications at HCA Florida Memorial were given appreciation gifts that also included opioid information on how to safely and properly dispose of prescription medications if you aren’t able to get to an event like this one.
