Sponsored by The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida

WHAT:

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens invites the community to gather in celebration of the impactful life, work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of free admission, creativity and dynamic programming. Sponsored by The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida’s Presidential Grants Program, events and activities will be presented throughout the day.

Highlights include:
• Community faith leaders will share a Prayer for Peace to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and there will be a powerful performance by the Jacksonville Arts & Music School (JAMS) chorus.

• The Performers Academy teens will deliver a powerful blend of singing, poetry, dance and more exploring what Dr. King’s vision means to a new generation.
