Downtown Vision, Inc. to Host its 10th Annual DTJax Gala: Under Construction

Downtown Vision, Inc., (DVI) Downtown Jacksonville’s nonprofit Business Improvement District (BID) has announced their 10th annual DTJax Gala: Under Construction. Proceeds from the #DTJax Gala benefits the PlacemakingJax initiative to turn passive spaces into active public places.
PlacemakingJax is a highly collaborative process for the people of Jacksonville to engage in the creation of pop-up activations or large-scale interventions in Downtown Jacksonville to transform underused public spaces into celebrated community places. PlacemakingJax is facilitated by DVI and funded in part by the #DTJax Gala, held each February.
This year, guests are encouraged to embrace the theme by dressing in their best construction-inspired attire. The evening’s highlights include live music by MAG!C RAD!O, captivating art displays by Lana Shuttleworth, a thought-provoking human library experience facilitated by PlacemakingJax and unique fashion elements presented by Pnuema. Guests can also enjoy delicious bites from Downtown favorites like SoulFULL Eats, Hungry Owl, Happy Grilled Cheese and Lazy Days Hot Dog Cart, accompanied with drinks from Manifest Distilling.
