Walter Chuck Foster Sporting Clay Shoot Raises Funds for the Community PedsCare® Program
February 17, 2025 – Jacksonville, Fla. — The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care is pleased to announce the success of the Walter Chuck Foster Sporting Clay Shoot, held at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports Facility on February 13. The event brought together supporters, sponsors, and participants for a day of camaraderie and fundraising supporting pediatric hospice and palliative care in our community.
Over 100 participants joined forces to make the day memorable and impactful through generous donations, sponsorships, and participant fees, which will directly benefit the Community PedsCare® program, a program dedicated to providing compassionate care for children and their families dealing with an advanced illness.
"The Walter Chuck Foster Sporting Clay Shoot is a cornerstone event for us, not only in raising funds but also in bringing our community together in support of compassionate pediatric hospice and palliative care," said Annie Tuttle, Executive Director of The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care. "We are deeply grateful to all who participated, sponsored, and volunteered their time and resources to make this event a resounding success."
Annually, Community PedsCare® provides support to over 350 children annually. Generous community support makes it possible for Community PedsCare® to provide seamless care from the outpatient to inpatient setting, whenever and wherever families need it most.
