Helen Materazzi Named JEA Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness

JACKSONVILLE, FL (June 2, 2023) – JEA has hired human resources veteran Helen Materazzi to serve in the newly created position of vice president of organizational effectiveness. She will report to Chief Strategy Officer Laura Dutton.

 

In this role, Materazzi will lead JEA’s organizational effectiveness team in advancing the utility’s talent planning, employee engagement and organizational development practices.

 

Materazzi has more than 30 years of experience in global human resources, talent management and organizational effectiveness across a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, financial services, chemical, pharmaceutical, agribusiness and technology. Prior to joining JEA, she served as chief people officer at VisasQ-Coleman Research Group, where she led organizational change initiatives and provided HR leadership throughout the pandemic. Previously, she served as vice president of organizational learning at Bowne & Co. Inc. in New York.

 

Materazzi earned a bachelor’s degree in administration from Rider University and assumes her new role today, earning an annual salary of $225,000.
