Jacksonville, FL – Jacksonville took the national stage last week as the JAX Chamber welcomed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council and 25 business leaders from across the country. The visit was part of the Council’s Spring Meeting and included a stop at the JAX Chmber Open Innovation Center, where local leaders demonstrated how the city is leveraging artificial intelligence to support the growth of 2nd Stage entrepreneurs.During the visit, guests were introduced to Jacksonville’s unique approach to AI-driven business solutions, designed specifically to empower companies that have moved beyond the startup phase and ar focused on scaling operations. The demonstration highlighted tools and technologies being developed and deployed in the region to drive innovation, efficiency, and market expansion.
“It was an honor to host the U.S. Chamber and share how Jacksonville is championing next-level support for entrepreneurs,” said Dr. Carlton Robinson, Chief Innovation Officer for the JAX Chamber. “Our goal is to show that AI isn’t just for tech giants—it’s a practical, powerful tool for small businesses ready to grow.”
The Spring Meeting also featured high-level discussions on federal trade policy, state and local advocacy, and communications training. Attendees engaged in networking events across the city, including a night at Top Golf and a Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball game.
