FOURTH OF JULY THROWBACK BASEBALL GAME
PRESENTED BY M&M HOMES
JACKSONVILLE, FL, June 30, 2025 - The Fourth of July Throwback Baseball Game Presented by M&M Homes returns to Historic Springfield on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Klutho Park (204 W 3rd Street). Pre-game festivities begin at 10 AM and first pitch begins at 11 AM. The event is free and family-friendly.
Watch the Eastside Reds versus the Westside Giants with players in authentic, turn-of-the-century uniforms and equipment complete with an organist and live announcer. This annual tradition celebrates the Fourth of July and Springfield Preservation and Revitalization’s mission to preserve the historic character of the Springfield community.
The event is free and family-friendly. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Limited bleacher seating is available and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, tents, and picnic supplies. Dat’s My Dawg, Icebusters Funnel Cakes and Ice Cream, and The Sugared Lemon will provide food and beverages for purchase. Restrooms with running water are available as well.
Pre-game festivities begin at 10 AM and include:
? Catch in the outfield and running the bases for children
? Sheriff T.K. Waters will throw the ceremonial first pitch
? Iaan Quintanilla sings the national anthem
Game begins at 11 AM. After party to celebrate the winners at Strings Sports Brewery with $1 wings and $1 off beer.
