Century Ambulance Service Dedicates New Headquarters & Honors Healthcare Heroes

Jacksonville, Fla. – Century Ambulance Service officially dedicated its new headquarters last week during the celebration of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, May 21-27. Century Ambulance honored employees and community partners during a luncheon and awards ceremony.

The new company headquarters is located on the westside of Jacksonville off I-10 and occupies more than 26,000 square-feet of office space that houses its communications center, training facilities, offices, and meeting rooms. It also has sleeping accommodations for its crew and a limited-service maintenance center to make minor repairs on its fleet of vehicles.

“We chose this new location to give us room to accommodate our growing staff and keep our operations running smoothly. We are strategically located here in northeast Florida, but also close enough to our other service areas which include Columbia, Taylor and Broward counties,” said Rick Fields, Senior Vice President of Operations for Covalent Health.

In addition to officially cutting the ribbon, Heather Stores was honored as Paramedic of the Year, and Charles Lane III was announced as EMT of the Year. Stores received recognition for being an outstanding employee who is always willing to take new employees under her wing and teach them everything she knows. Lane serves as a Critical Care EMT on the Trauma One Ground One unit and was recognized this year for his positive attitude and excellent patient care.

Century Ambulance Service is a Covalent Health Company and provides services throughout the state of Florida serving northeast and southern Florida. For more information about Century Ambulance, visit www.centuryambulance.com.
