July 16, 2025 (Jacksonville, Fla.) – The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care is proud to announce the return of the Kelsi Young Fashion Show, taking place Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville.
This uplifting event gives children from the Community PedsCare® program a chance to shine on the runway and enjoy a day that’s all about them. It’s a moment to play dress-up, laugh with friends, and feel the spotlight in the most joyful way. The fashion show supports the Kelsi Young Respite Care Fund, which helps provide much-needed rest for parents and guardians caring for children with serious medical conditions.
Community PedsCare® focuses on helping children and their families live better with advanced illness or serious injury through their hospice and palliative care services. Community PedsCare® is a unique program in our region that works in all settings of care and bridges the gaps between hospital care, physicians' offices, clinics, and community to assure that our youngest patients and their families have what is needed to live the best life possible, regardless of the length of their life. Largely unfunded and not widely available in other communities, this vital service exists thanks to the generosity of the Jacksonville community.
Established in memory of Kelsi Young, whose brief but meaningful life continues to inspire others, the fund allows families in the Community PedsCare® program to receive the breaks they need while ensuring their children are in safe, loving hands.
