ROARS and More Event at Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens Benefiting Community PedsCare®
October 9, 2025 – Jacksonville, Fla. — The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care is thrilled to announce the return of ROARS and More, presented by THE PLAYERS. This gala of a different sort will take place on November 16, 2025, at Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This signature event promises an enchanting evening of family-friendly fun while raising essential funds for Community PedsCare®, a program dedicated to providing compassionate care for children and their families during challenging times. ROARS and More offers a unique experience that's sure to delight guests of all ages.
Every ticket includes food and drinks, ensuring an all-inclusive experience for attendees. Guests will be immersed in a spectacular experience featuring over 1,000 stunning lantern displays showcasing enchanting animals and vibrant plants throughout the zoo. Each loop will surprise children with delightful toys, adding extra joy to their night. The "ROARS and More" showcase will also feature family-friendly entertainment and thrilling performances that promise to captivate audiences.
Culinary enthusiasts can indulge in gourmet bites from Jacksonville's top restaurants at the Flamingo Food Court, while adults can enjoy refreshing beverages at the "ROARS AND POURS" bars
Funds raised during ROARS and More will empower Community PedsCare® to expand its services, building a legacy of support for nearly 3,000 families to date through specialized care and essential resources.
"The success of our first ROARS and More event showed us just how powerful our community can be when we come together for a cause," said Annie Tuttle, Executive Director.
