THE LITTLE RIVER BAND RETURNS TO THE FLORIDA THEATRE STAGE ON MARCH 7, 2026

WITH SPECIAL GUEST BILLY JOEL LEGENDS LIVE! THE LORDS OF 52ND STREET JUST ADDED!

JACKSONVILLE, FL (October 22, 2025) –– The Florida Theatre is proud to announce the return of the Little River Band with special guest Billy Joel Legends Live! The Lords of 52nd Street just added on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at the historic Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville. Tickets are still available. Buy them at www.floridatheatre.com or the Florida Theatre Box Office at (904) 355-2787.

The Little River Band has captivated audiences worldwide with its signature sound, blending rock, pop, and soulful melodies.

Through the ’70s and ’80s, the Little River Band (LRB) enjoyed huge chart success with multiplatinum albums and chart-topping hits like:  “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Lady,” “The Night Owls,” “Take It Easy On Me,” “Help Is On Its Way,” “Happy Anniversary,” “We Two,” “Man On Your Mind,” “The Other Guy,” and “It’s A Long Way There.”

With a legacy of chart-topping hits, the band has solidified its place in music history and continues to attract generations of devoted fans.

Current band membership is anchored by bassist and lead singer Wayne Nelson…a 45-year LRB veteran. He is joined on stage by keyboardist and Dove Award-winning producer Chris Marion, drummer Ryan Ricks, and guitarists Colin Whinnery and Bruce Wallace. All five are accomplished singers and deliver the signature LRB lead vocals and harmonies at every show.

Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, joined with LRB as a guest artist in 1988 for two Australian tours…culminating with a live TV performance at Expo ’88. He spoke from the heart at that last show when he dubbed the Little River Band “the best singing band in the world” in front of 125,000 concertgoers. The current lineup of LRB takes that accolade to heart each and every time they perform.

For over four decades, The Lords of 52nd Street have been celebrated as Billy Joel’s original band, delivering the same energy and authenticity that made hits like "Piano Man," "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," "You May Be Right," and “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” legendary. The Lords of 52nd Street is a rock band comprised of Richie Cannata, Liberty Devito, and Russell Javors – all members of Billy Joel’s live and recording band who have joined forces to play Billy Joel’s hits as only they can.
