Fleet Landing Breaks Ground on $280 million Nocatee Site

Nocatee, FL - Fleet Landing hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, celebrating 
the start of construction on its second campus, Fleet Landing at Nocatee — a premier, not-for-profit Life Plan 
Community that will redefine retirement living in Northeast Florida. More than 200 guests attended, including 
future residents, Fleet Landing leadership, project partners, and past and present Board Members.
“Fleet Landing at Nocatee represents more than expansion — it’s part of a broader mission to serve a new 
generation of older adults who seek purpose, connection, and possibility,” said Josh Ashby, Chief Executive Officer 
of Fleet Landing. “We’re not just building a community; we’re building a future in which older people continue to 
lead, contribute, and inspire.”
Future resident Jennifer Regan, who attended the ceremony, shared her excitement: “I am so pleased that an 
organization with such a great reputation will now be a special part of Nocatee. I’m looking forward to being part of 
a community that cares for each other — and has fun too!”
The $280 million development sits on 37 acres in the award-winning, master-planned community of Nocatee. 
Located in Nocatee’s Town Center, Fleet Landing residents will enjoy access to Nocatee’s extensive amenities in 
addition to the community’s own exceptional offerings, including multiple dining venues — highlighted by a rooftop 
bar and restaurant — two group exercise studios, creative arts and game rooms, a fitness center, heated pool, 
pickleball courts, dog park, and a state-of-the-art performing arts center. Together, these features create a relaxed, 
luxury environment that fosters connection, wellness, and community engagement.
The new campus will extend Fleet Landing’s long-standing tradition of purposeful living, innovation, and quality. The 
development will serve more than 450 residents and create over 100 new jobs locally. Fleet Landing at Nocatee will 
feature 234 independent living residences, 26 assisted living apartments, and 19 memory support suites, offering a 
choice of home styles including a nine-story Tower, three-story Flats, and Cottage residences, with floor plans 
ranging from 849 to 2,964 square feet.
