Free Holiday Gift for all donors through December 31
WHAT:
This holiday season, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is thanking blood donors in Northeast Florida with special promotions during the holiday season. Unlike other blood donor centers, blood donated at LifeSouth stays in the donor’s community, allowing locals to save local lives daily.
December Donor Promotions:

Now through December 15: T-shirt for all donors and a $40 e-gift card for platelet, plasma, and double red donors.

December 16–31: Fuzzy socks and a $25 e-gift card for all donors, and a $40 e-gift card for platelet donors.

December 24 only: Free holiday ornament for all donors.
Blood donated at LifeSouth stays in the donor’s community, allowing locals to save local lives daily. During this time of year, the need for blood at local hospitals increases, while nationally donations decline due to travel, busy schedules, and seasonal illness. LifeSouth encourages all eligible and first-time donors to give this holiday season and help support our community’s hospitals and patients.
LifeSouth is the primary blood provider to many Northeast Florida hospitals, including Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Baptist Medical Center South, HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Donations made with LifeSouth directly support patients at these hospitals.

Donors can visit a LifeSouth donor center or bloodmobile. To find a convenient donation location, visit lifesouth.org or call 888-795-2707. Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental permission, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good health. A photo ID is required.
