Jacksonville, FL - June 9, 2023 - Amplified Avondale and The Historic Avondale Merchants Association presents the Jazz Discovery Series on June 30th from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Shoppes of Avondale. This free event offers world-class Jazz, live music, live art installations, food, and wine tasting.
Headlining the series is trombonist and vocalist Lexi Hammer, renowned nationwide for her captivating jazz compositions. John Lumpkin will be on percussion and Kaleb Thompkins on Upright Bass.
The Jazz Discovery Series aims to share jazz history, nurture young talents, and inspire future jazz enthusiasts through masterclasses and clinics. Founded by John Lumpkin II, the series supports artists and enriches the community.
In addition to the Jazz Discovery series we are hosting Junco Royal, DJ Papi Disco and Rambler Kane. Live Art installation by Heartspace Art. Live music and art all along the avenue.
