HCA Florida Royal Pines Emergency Opens in Oakleaf Plantation

Orange Park, Florida – December 16, 2025 – HCA Florida Healthcare is proud to share its new freestanding emergency room located at 1093 Oakleaf Plantation Parkway in Orange Park, FL, is now open. The new HCA Florida Royal Pines Emergency (ER), which consists of 10,860 square feet of building, is located conveniently along the First Coast Expressway (State Road 23) in Clay County. The freestanding ER is an extension of Orange Park Hospital’s emergency services and will serve the communities of Oakleaf Plantation, Clay County and Duval County.

The new HCA Florida Royal Pines Emergency will provide:

  • One Trauma Bay
  • A dedicated pediatric treatment room
  • Minimally invasive diagnostics
    • CT scan
    • Ultrasound
    • X-ray
  • Board-certified emergency physicians
  • Emergency room nurses
  • Easy access to parking
  • 24-7 availability
  • Free transportation to HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital if hospital care is needed

Construction, combined with purchasing new equipment, cost approximately $26 million. The project was developed in partnership with Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI), with architects from Hereford Dooley Architects, Inc.
