THE FLORIDA THEATRE IS THE 5TH MOST-ATTENDED THEATRE WORLDWIDE!

JACKSONVILLE, FL (December 30, 2025) –– Concert industry trade magazine Pollstar released its year-end numbers for 2025. Each year, the magazine publishes a set of charts tracking ticket sales in the concert industry. 

 

Overall, the Florida Theatre is the #45 most-attended theatre worldwide, but for theatres up to 2,000 seats, the Florida Theatre is the #5 most-attended theatre worldwide.

 

Top 5 Attendance – Theatres Up to 2,000 Seats:

 

  1. 3 Olympia Theatre (Dublin, Ireland), 293,811 tickets, $12,839,359 gross – 1,300 seats
  2. Teatro Telcel (Mexico City, Mexico), 284,394 tickets, $22,911,869 gross – 2,000 seats
  3. Barbara B. Mann Perf. Arts Hall (Fort Myers, Florida), 216,392 tickets, $16,214,781 gross – 1,874 seats
  4. Capitole Gent (Ghent, Belgium), 188,120 tickets, $7,529,634 gross – 1,600 seats
  5. Florida Theatre (Jacksonville, Florida), 184,803 tickets, $8,378,327 gross – 1,865 seats

 

“Being ranked the #45 most-attended theatre in the world is extraordinary, but what truly highlights the Florida Theatre’s impact is that among theatres with 2,000 seats or fewer, we rank #5 worldwide,” said Kevin Stone, Interim President/VP of Programming at the Florida Theatre.  “As a 98-year-old theatre, it proves that history and innovation can thrive together.  In addition, it speaks to the passion of our audiences, the strength of our programming, and the enduring role this historic theatre continues to play in the Jacksonville, FL community.”

 

According to Pollstar’s Year-End Top 200 Worldwide Top Touring Artists, the top 10 are: Beyonce at $407 million, Oasis at $405 million, Coldplay at $390 million, Kendrick Lamar/SZA at $358 million, Shakira at $320 million, The Weekend at $306 million, Chris Brown at $298 million, Imagine Dragons at $249 million, Lady Gaga at $208 million, and Post Malone at $197 million.
