City Rescue Mission Celebrates 80 Years of Impact with Anniversary Dinner and a Dramatic Musical Performance by its residents: |

Deep Roots. Bold Tomorrow. Jacksonville, FL — City Rescue Mission will celebrate 80 years of serving the Jacksonville community at its 80th Anniversary Dinner, honoring eight decades of hope, restoration, and life transformation for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness and addiction. The event will be held on May 7th at the Southbank Hotel, starting at 6pm. The evening will reflect on the Mission’s legacy, while casting vision for the future under the theme: Deep Roots. Bold Tomorrow. This year’s celebration will feature the debut of City Rescue Mission’s own Drama Troupe and Choir. Debuting a powerful spoken word performance by its residents. Highlighting their testimonies of growth, healing, and transformation. The evening will also mark the official unveiling of City Rescue Mission’s new children’s book, Destiny’s Diary, a moving story of one family’s journey through homelessness.
