SPRINGFIELD RESIDENTIAL REVITALIZATION | MARCH 17, 2026

JACKSONVILLE, FL, March 11, 2026 - Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR) announces their annual Residential Revitalization recipient in partnership with the 5th Annual NEXGEN Roofing and the NEXGEN Foundation roof donation.

Each year, SPAR partners with a neighbor to revitalize a home in Springfield. This year, the recipient of SPAR’s Residential Revitalization program is the Williams Family. Thanks to a generous donation by NEXGEN Roofing and the NEXGEN Foundation, as well as their suppliers Owens Corning and Suncoast Roofing Supply, the Williams Family will receive a new roof for their historic home.

According to Miss Williams, this donation is more than just a roof. Miss Williams said, “I haven’t had a roof since I moved to this house so this is a God-send.” She continued, “I’ve been trying to get help and this is the help I needed.”

Miss Williams moved into her house in 2004 and worries about how the storms in Florida have affected the roof. This donation will give her some peace of mind. Her historic home was built in 1909. Thanks to the recommendation of a nearby neighbor, SPAR and the Williams Family were able to work with NEXGEN Roofing and the NEXGEN Foundation to receive a new roof donation.

“I’m grateful to the neighbor who referred Miss Williams to SPAR and to Miss Williams for trusting us to work with her on her home. I’m especially grateful to NEXGEN Roofing and the NEXGEN Foundation for making this donation possible. This is a story of generosity and gratitude in Springfield, of neighbors helping neighbors, which is what our community is all about.

NEXGEN Roofing will begin work on the roof on March 17, 2026. The donation represents not only a significant philanthropic contribution by NEXGEN, but a standard for community building in the City of Jacksonville. As Brandon Cornellier, NEXGEN’s Co-Founder and COO, explains, “When we founded NEXGEN Roofing, we committed to growing our impact alongside our business. Our goal isn’t just to lead our industry, but to set the standard for how small businesses give back to the communities that support them. Our partnership with SPAR has become one of the most meaningful and rewarding collaborations in our company’s history, and we look forward to many years of giving back together.”
