Annual fundraising event is Dec. 6-7 at Stillwater Golf and Country Club
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 29, 2026) – The Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF) proudly announces the 2026 Dream Finders Homes Champions for Child Safety Pro-Am Golf Tournament, presented by Jax Utilities Management, Lennar, and MJC Land Development. The tournament is Monday, Dec. 7, at Stillwater Golf and Country Club in St. Johns, Fla. The tournament’s Coastal Oak Wealth Advisors Pairings Party and Fireside Chat is Sunday, Dec. 6.
Proceeds from the tournament power MBF's Prevention Education Programs, extending life-saving safety education to more youth nationwide and strengthening the tools children need to stay safe from abuse, bullying, online exploitation, and other emerging threats to their well-being.
"Our annual Pro-Am tournament is more than a day on the course with talented professional golfers — it's a powerful opportunity to support and raise critical funds that fuel our mission to protect children," said Ashley Garrett, MBF CEO. "This year, we're especially excited to welcome our players, sponsors, and supporters to Stillwater Golf and Country Club, a beautiful new home for the Pro-Am. Behind every dollar raised is a classroom reached, a family educated, and a young person given the tools to recognize and escape danger. We believe every child, in every setting, deserves to feel safe — and closing the gaps in child safety education is at the heart of everything we do. Our Prevention Education Programs exist because people show up for this cause, and together, we are building safer communities, one classroom and one community at a time."
MBF is appreciative for its 2026 Champions for Child Safety Title Sponsor, Dream Finders Homes. “At Dream Finders Homes, we believe our responsibility to the communities we serve extends well beyond building homes,” said Clint Szubinski, Chief Operating Officer of Dream Finders Homes. “Supporting the Monique Burr Foundation and the important work they do to educate and protect children is something we are incredibly proud to be part of. This tournament has grown into a special event that brings our community together around an even greater purpose, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting MBF and the children and families they serve.”
A hallmark of the Champions for Child Safety Pro-Am is the distinguished group of professional golfers who return year after year to tee up for this important cause. MBF is proud to recognize the following professionals whose generosity, talent, and ongoing commitment have been instrumental to the tournament's success and impact: Amelia Lewis, Andrew Morgan, Brad Adamonis, Bubba Dickerson, Frank Lickliter II, Franck Médale, Fred Bondi, Fred Funk, Garrett Willis, Heather Manfredda, Jack Whaley, Jessica Porvashik, Jim Furyk, Joseph Winslow, Justin James, Kenny Knox, Laura Baugh, Len Mattiace, Mark McCumber, Max Hellstrom, Miles Russell, Mulbe Dillard IV, Nick Gabrelcik, Ricky Castillo, Robbie Higgins, Sara McKevitt, Vijay Singh and Woody Blackburn. Their participation on the course is a powerful testament to their dedication to child safety — and MBF is deeply grateful for their support.
MBF Programs break the cycle of victimization by intervening early with age-appropriate, evidence-based, and trauma-informed safety education with an average 20% change in knowledge and skills on how to keep themselves and their friends safe. Thanks to partners, supporters, and advocates, MBF has reached 22 million children and teens this past year. Last year, the tournament raised over $533,000 in support of child abuse and bullying prevention education and resources. Sponsorship opportunities, ranging from $2,000 to $20,000, are available.
