The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care Invites Families to Go Wild at ROARS and More

Oct. 6, 2026 (Jacksonville, Fla.) – A wild night of family fun is returning to Jacksonville this fall as The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care presents ROARS and More on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Benefiting Community PedsCare, the evening gives families a unique opportunity to experience the Zoo in a whole new way while supporting compassionate pediatric palliative and hospice care for children with serious, life-limiting illnesses and their families.

ROARS and More is an evening the entire family can enjoy. Guests can stroll through the Zoo while enjoying food from some of Jacksonville’s top vendors, craft cocktails, toy stops for young explorers, music and activities in the Wild Cubs Adventure Zone, carousel rides and a movie adventure in the 4D Theater. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience the Zoo’s new Manatee River exhibit.

Community PedsCare is the pediatric palliative and hospice program of Community Hospice & Palliative Care, providing specialized care and support for children with serious and life-limiting illnesses and their families. The program offers comprehensive support focused on comfort, quality of life and the needs of the entire family. The Dorion Family Pediatric Center, which opened earlier this year in Jacksonville, provides a welcoming space where Community PedsCare patients and families can receive therapies, participate in specialized programs and connect with additional support.

Proceeds from ROARS and More help support Community PedsCare programs and services, turning an evening of adventure at the Zoo into meaningful support for local children and families.
