JACKSONVILLE, FL — October 1, 2026 — Hunt Lumber & Supply, a staple of Jacksonville’s building and hardware community for over a century, today announced its official Grand Re-Opening event scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1308 Kings Road, Jacksonville, FL 32209. The Ribbon Cutting will take place at Noon.
The event marks a major milestone for the business following its acquisition by longtime leader Corey Hunt, who transitioned the business from Paschal Brothers Hardware to Hunt Lumber & Supply earlier this year. The Grand Re-Opening celebrates the completion of extensive facility
updates, store modernizations, and a forward-looking growth plan designed to serve commercial contractors, municipal crews, local trades, and urban core homeowners across Northeast Florida.
A New Chapter Built on a 100-Year Legacy
Rooted in history that dates back to 1924, the site at the corner of Kings Road and Myrtle Avenue N. has served as a cornerstone for Jacksonville builders for a century. Corey Hunt, who began his career at the store nearly 30 years ago, took ownership in February 2026 and
immediately launched a strategic plan to modernize operations while retaining the personalized, immediate service the business is known for.
