JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 28, 2023) — Smith Hulsey & Busey is proud to welcome Justin Robinson as a new member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice.
Before joining SHB, Robinson was associated with the Miami office of a major international business law firm, where he represented clients in acquisitions of IT companies valued at more than $80 million, including a billion-dollar sale on behalf of a major online retailer. He is also a former extern for the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division’s Appellate Section.
“We are pleased to welcome Justin to our growing M&A team,” said Steve Busey, chairman of the firm. “His experience in private equity mergers and acquisitions makes him a valuable addition to the firm. His knowledge of tax law also adds significant depth to our M&A practice.”
Robinson received his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Florida College of Law, and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
