FLORIDA THEATRE ANNOUNCES A NEW CORPORATE PARTNER: JON SMITH SUBS

JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 11, 2023 – The historic Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville is proud to announce a brand-new corporate partner:  Jon Smith Subs!

“We are here today with Solomon Jones of Jon Smith Subs.  This is a first for the Florida Theatre.  We know Solomon as a donor and frequent flyer at the Florida Theatre.  And now we're going to get to know Solomon as a Corporate Partner because he is one of the movers and shakers behind bringing Jon Smith Subs to Jacksonville.  So, we have a brand-new Corporate Partner and a brand-new Jacksonville business and we love both of those things.  So, Solomon tell us about Jon Smith Subs,” said Numa Saisselin, President of the Florida Theatre.

“Sure, well, first of all, I look forward to working with the Florida Theatre.  My family and I enjoy coming down, supporting the Florida Theatre, and enjoying the show.  It is a great opportunity, as we brought the Jon Smith Subs brand to Jacksonville, to bring the brand to Florida Theatre and to be a sponsor,” said Solomon Jones of Jon Smith Subs.

“Since 1988, Jon Smith Subs has been known for ‘the steak bomb,’ which is baking bread with marinated steak in all the fresh veggies.  If you’re not really into steak, we also have ‘the chicken bomb,’ which is the same thing, overstuffed chicken with all the veggies and again, with a nice piece of crispy bacon on top to get your taste buds exploding.  Also, the brand originated in South Florida, so it's also known for ‘the Cuban sandwich’ or ‘thrill of the grill’ which is pork loin, marinated with all the nice spices, pressed down on some fresh Cuban bread, and grilled to perfection.  One of the key things about us too, we also have French fries which is a little unique.  Most sub-shops just offer chips,” said Solomon.

“We're new to Jacksonville, opening July 17th here in the Windsor Common Shopping Center on 4765 Hodges Boulevard, so please come on out, and be a part, we welcome Florida Theatre, all patrons, and everyone in the community as we celebrate bringing the Jon Smith Sub brand to Jacksonville,” said Solomon.

“Well, we're so excited to have a broader relationship with you and now our relationship with Jon Smith Subs.  So, thanks for your support of the Florida Theatre and we're looking forward to the ribbon cutting on July 17th at 10 a.m. at 4765 Hodges Boulevard at the corner of Beaches and Hodges right off JTB in the Publix Shopping Center in Windsor Commons,” said Numa.
