Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) announces key Leadership hires

JACKSONVILLE, FL. — September 27, 2023 — The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) today announced the hiring of three executives to fill key positions.

 

Raj Srinath has been hired as the Authority’s new SVP — Chief Financial Officer. Kiet Dinh joins as VP — Automation & Innovation. Anthony Junco is the agency’s new Public Information Officer.

Ford Sr. “All three of these individuals have proven experience in their fields and will be an invaluable addition to the Authority in each of their departments. Raj Srinath, SVP — Chief Financial Officer

 

Raj Srinath will fill the SVP — Chief Financial Officer role at the JTA beginning October 16. Srinath is a top-performing management professional with proven abilities to optimize capital, reduce risk and increase corporate profitability.

 

As SVP — Chief Financial Officer, Srinath will be responsible for directing the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, revenue, and fixed assets programs functions and personnel for the JTA.  

 

Srinath has nearly 30 years of financial management experience, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). Previously, he served at transit agencies, including Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).

 

Kiet Dinh, VP — Automation & Innovation

 

Kiet Dinh will be the new VP — Automation & Innovation at the JTA. Kiet has a proven track record of driving successful product development in both startup and enterprise environments, with a passion for autonomous vehicles and the promise they hold for safer and more reliable transportation.

 

As the VP — Automation & Innovation, Kiet will manage the Authority’s planning, design, procurement, manufacture, installation and construction for the Ultimate Urban Circulator (U2C) program and oversee the JTA Skyway and its maintenance.

 

Kiet previously served as the Project Delivery Manager at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, where he led a cross-functional team of 25, including leading the engineering design of an innovative autonomous vehicle advanced mobility program. He also comes to the JTA with experience in leading the commercialization of an autonomous vehicle urban circulator service.

 

Anthony Junco, Public Information Officer

 

Anthony Junco will join the JTA as the Authority’s Public Information Officer. He joins the Authority’s Engagement team with a career in strategic media outreach, content creation, social media management and crisis communication.

 

As the Public Information Officer, Anthony will provide strategic communication direction and execute the Authority’s internal and external corporate communication activities. Anthony will serve as the JTA's spokesperson and manage CEO communication opportunities.

 

Anthony previously served as the Public Affairs Officer at Littoral Combat Ship Squadron 2 in Jacksonville, where he established relationships with national and trade media, coordinated high-profile media engagements and created communications pieces, including speeches, press releases, briefing cards, virtual tours and media advisories.
