Tickets available for the 2023 Talent Forum on October 19

Jacksonville, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2023) With unemployment at a record low and businesses struggling to recruit and retain skilled employees, speakers and panelists will join together to discuss ways local business leaders are meeting this workforce challenge during ‘The 2023 Talent Forum – Innovative Solutions to Overcome Talent Shortages.’

 

The forum takes place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at WJCT Studios, located at 100 Festival Park Ave. in downtown Jacksonville.

 

Presented by CareerSource Northeast Florida, JAXUSA Partnership and SHRM Jacksonville, the forum is designed for business leaders, workforce developers, economic pioneers, educators, elected officials and community visionaries dedicated to building Northeast Florida’s talent today and in the future.

 

Keynote speakers include Lightcast Vice President of Staffing and Senior Economist Ron Hetrick, who will present ‘The Demographic Drought: Who is Going to Do the Work?,’ along with Florida Chamber President & CEO Mark Wilson, who will provide an overview of the current workforce trends in the state.

In addition to the keynote presentations, panels of local business leaders will dive into innovative approaches to recruitment and retention.  Panel topics include:

  3. Hiring Individuals with Disabilities – Diversifying Your Workforce Talent.
