CITY RESCUE MISSION – MCDUFF CAMPUS

Monday, October 16, 2023- Jacksonville, Fla.- On October 16th at City Rescue Mission’s McDuff Campus, our Maintenance Manager alerted the authorities regarding a potential issue with the gas line outside our building. Out of an abundance of caution, we implemented the organization’s emergency evacuation procedure. The authorities gave the all-clear to return inside within an hour. We are proud of how quickly our staff responded to the situation and are happy to report that nobody was injured, and the problem has been addressed. We have returned to full operations and continue to provide hope, healing, and change to nearly 300 men, women, and children per day in the Jacksonville community.
