Experienced Goddard franchisee to open second early childhood education center in Ponte Vedra Beach to serve area families
PONTE VEDRA, Fla. (October 23, 2023) — The Goddard School®, a nationally acclaimed early childhood education franchise, is set to open its second location in Ponte Vedra in late 2024. The Goddard School of Nocatee will serve the South Ponte Vedra and Nocatee Community. It will be the fourth location in the Jacksonville area for owner Liz Scott, who presently owns The Goddard School of Ponte Vedra Beach, The Goddard School of Julington Creek, and The Goddard School of Baymeadows/Gate Pkwy.
The new 15,000-square-foot early childhood education center will feature 12 classrooms to care for and educate approximately 240 students. The school will add about 40 teaching jobs to the community.

The new school will feature an indoor gymnasium, a STEAM room, an outdoor sports court, an outdoor learning classroom, an outdoor amphitheater, and a turf athletic field alongside multiple playground structures. Additionally, the school will be equipped with hospital-grade sanitization equipment to ensure a healthy environment.
With a focus on exploration, learning and social-emotional growth, The Goddard School uses a play- and inquiry-based approach grounded in the most current, academically endorsed methods in early childhood education to nurture the extraordinary in every child.
