Aspatria Institute Grand Opening Press Release |

After an exciting start, Aspatria Institute held their Grand Opening on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 with multiple community organizations and the entire Aspatria team! The CEO, Dr. Jose E. Garcia, spoke about his dedication to the field of healthcare and wanting to be part of the solution for the shortage of healthcare workers. The shortage of healthcare workers was what spurred Dr. Garcia to enter education, starting with Medical Assistants and with plans to expand. With the first class of students starting in January 2023, the Medical Assistant Program has continued to flourish. The main campus has multiple classrooms, a Simulation Lab with multiple manikins, Computer Lab, and large laboratory spaces ready for new and existing students to practice and further their education in. Additionally, hands-on experience is highlighted in Aspatria Institute’s program with the last portion of the curriculum being an Externship in an active medical center. Aspatria Institute has partnered with American Care Medical Centers and their three (3) medical centers in Jacksonville to ensure an Externship site for all of its students. Looking towards the future, Aspatria Institute is excited to continue to grow and help the local healthcare community flourish.
