Gunster Shareholder Tim Danninger Selected as Vice Chair of The Florida Board of Bar Examiners

Gunster is pleased to announce that shareholder Timothy S. Danninger has been selected as vice chair of The Florida Board of Bar Examiners, effective November 1, 2023. He will serve as chair starting in 2024.

This Board is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Florida created by the Court to handle matters of bar admission. The primary purpose of the character and fitness screening before admission to The Florida Bar is to protect the public and safeguard the judicial system. The primary purpose of the bar examination is to ensure that all who are ultimately admitted have demonstrated minimum technical competence. In order to be admitted in Florida, an applicant must have proof of good moral character and must successfully complete the Florida Bar Examination.

Among the priorities that the Board will address this year is Florida’s contemplation of replacing the MultiState Bar Examination with the NextGen exam.

Danninger earned his J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law and a B.S. from Master’s College.
