JAX CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS SELECTS ARI JOLLY AS 2024 CHAMBER CHAIR-ELECT

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 4, 2023) – The JAX Chamber Board of Directors selected Ari Jolly as the 2024 Chamber Chair-Elect.

Jolly, Expert Counsel for Florida Blue, now serves on the Chamber Executive Committee as General Counsel. The Chamber traditionally selects its chair more than a year in advance. In the role of Chair-elect next year, she will lead the 2024 Leadership Trip and become Chair in 2025. Chamber Chair Mark Bennett will continue to serve as Chair in 2024.

“Ari is an outstanding leader who cares deeply about Jacksonville and will be an outstanding Chamber Chair,” JAX Chamber President and CEO Daniel Davis said. “She understands the business community, has led major boards and her corporate expertise will be invaluable in leading the Chamber in 2025.”

She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Jacksonville Bar Association and served as Chairman on several boards such as the Board of the Greater Jacksonville Area USO and the Veterans Network at Florida Blue, where she spoke about women veterans and the multicultural U.S. Armed Forces. She is the immediate past Board of Directors’ chair of both the Jacksonville Transportation Authority and of the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.  Jolly currently serves on the boards of Fleet Landing, the American Public Transportation Association and the Jacksonville University Public Policy Institute.

“Our city is booming right now and it’s important that the business community leads in ensuring that everyone in our community has the opportunity to succeed and thrive as we continue to grow,” Jolly said. “I’m honored to serve in this role, to be part of Mark’s team and to have the opportunity to lead the Chamber in 2025.”

At Florida Blue, Jolly provides legal support for investment and corporate development operations as well as board governance support to affiliated companies.

Before joining Florida Blue, Jolly served in the U.S. Navy for almost a decade and was the recipient of a Navy Achievement Medal in 1987.

Jolly is an honors graduate from the Naval Legal Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island and obtained degrees from Jacksonville University and Florida State University College of Law.

Misty Skipper, Vice President of Merchandizing, Marketing and External Affairs for GATE Petroleum, will serve as chair of JAXUSA Partnership for 2024. The remainder of the Board of Directors will be announced in early 2024.
