Community Hospice & Palliative Care’s Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring Facility Upgrades

December 5, 2023 (Jacksonville, Fla.) - Community Hospice & Palliative Care is proud to announce the completion of upgrades in their clinical wing at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring, a project aimed at improving the overall patient experience and enhancing their healthcare delivery. 

The renovations created a more comfortable and efficient space for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. The updated wing now features the following: 

 

  • New flooring in patient rooms prioritizes comfort and safety. The new flooring is designed to reduce noise and ensure ease of movement for both patients and staff.
  • The clinical wing now features freshly painted walls, replacing the previous vinyl coverings. This update modernizes the facility's look and contributes to a more welcoming and calming environment for our patients.
  • Community Hospice & Palliative Care believes in the healing power of art. With that in mind, they carefully selected and replaced the artwork throughout the wing. Each piece has been chosen to create a serene and uplifting atmosphere.
  • All patient rooms are equipped with new, state-of-the-art televisions to highlight the importance of entertainment and relaxation.
  • The nurses' stations and medication room have undergone significant improvements. These changes aim to streamline care delivery and ensure medical staff has the best tools.
