For each donation LifeSouth will plant a tree in partnership with National Forest Foundation
LifeSouth asks blood donors to help save a life and help save the planet. LifeSouth will sponsor a tree to be planted for each blood donation made at one of their donor centers, April 22 to April 28 through the National Forest Foundation’s Sapling Program. All blood donors donating at a LifeSouth donor center will receive an e-gift card as well in gratitude for their donatio. In addition to the thank you gifts, all donors receive refreshments and a mini-physical, including cholesterol, iron level, temperature and blood pressure.
LifeSouth supplies blood to 70% Northeast Florida hospital beds serving many regional hospitals, including Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Baptist Medical Center South, HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
