The White House proclaimed April 2023 Second Chance Month (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2023/03/31/a-proclamation-on-second-chance-month-2023/), reaffirming the importance of helping incarcerated individuals reenter society. Here at Operation New Hope, we are thrilled to celebrate Second Chances with our partners at Boeing (https://www.boeing.com/principles/community-engagement.page). During our weekly Ready4Work graduation ceremony, Boeing awarded Operation New Hope with a $100,000 grant to provide more second chance opportunities. Funding will be used to support our comprehensive reentry services, including rental assistance, educational courses, food assistance and employment training.

Providing these resources not only helps individuals returning from prison, but also serves as an important economic need by matching qualified, vetted employees with industries in need of workers, as well as, an important community safety measure, by helping to stabilize neighborhoods and prevent further crime.
