Sherrer recognized for making a significant mark within the profession
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 12, 2024) – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty proudly announces Founder and Chairman Linda Sherrer has received the Real Estate Icon Award from the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR).
“Linda Sherrer is very deserving of this award as she is a highly respected icon in the Northeast Florida real estate industry and an amazing leader who gives her time and generosity in support of her community organizations, programs and projects,” said NEFAR CEO Glenn East. “NEFAR is so proud to recognize Linda’s longtime love for the real estate industry and her support of the communities of Northeast Florida.”
The honor is presented to a NEFAR Realtor who has made a significant contribution within the profession, is highly respected in the community, is known for exemplary ethical behavior as well as knowledgeable and compassionate service, and provides generous support to community organizations.

Sherrer served on the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Board of Directors including two terms as Chair, and on the JAX Chamber Board of Directors. Sherrer also served as a gubernatorial appointee to the Jacksonville International Airport Board of Directors, on the Florida Association of Realtors Board of Directors, as Past President of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and held the position of Commodore at Epping Forest Yacht Club.
