Local Association of HR Professionals To Hold Silent Auction To Benefit the SHRM Foundation |

Jacksonville, FL – The Jacksonville Chapter Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM Jacksonville) will hold its 15th Annual Conference & Expo, Get in the HR Game, on April 11, 2024, at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. The local chapter is expecting more than 250 Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia HR professionals. An in-person and virtual silent auction will be hosted as part of this event and proceeds from the auction will be donated to the SHRM Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides research and development arm of the Human Resource profession. The chapter raised more than $8,500 last year toward the SHRM Foundation earning a designation as one of the Top 25 Fundraising Chapters in SHRM. “It’s the people who make a difference in any business, and we’re excited to be able to give back to our profession and have fun doing it. It’s a win-win for everyone involved,” said Suzanne Giddens, President of SHRM Jacksonville. The organization is currently soliciting donations for auction items.
