WHAT:
Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL), the region’s largest food bank, will host additional nutrition-focused food distributions throughout the month of April. The drive-thru distribution events will be equipped to serve up to 500 households on a first come, first serve basis as supplies last.
Distributions will focus on bringing nutrition top of mind and will include healthy foods, fresh Florida produce, locally sourced meats and shelf-stable goods. Recipes for how to incorporate these foods will be provided by FNEFL’s robust nutrition team. These large-scale distributions will be in addition to the more than 150 standing distributions taking place each month, highlighting locations that are not typical distribution sites.
