JACKSONVILLE, FL, April 17, 2024 – For a donation to the nonprofit Florida Theatre, you can renew your wedding vows, or you can get married in the Elvis Chapel at the Florida Theatre Ball – Vegas Style on May 18th! For $999, your wedding package will include:
- Two tickets for you and your future spouse to the Florida Theatre Ball ($350 value)
- Two Florida Theatre Ball tickets for your two witnesses ($350 value)
- One veil
- One bouquet
- One boutonniere
- Get married in the Elvis Chapel
- One wedding photo with Elvis
- A great story to tell!
But first, there are a few things you need to take care of beforehand to make sure your Elvis/Vegas Wedding dream comes true:
- Interested couples must sign up and pay in advance. To purchase one of the limited wedding packages available, please contact Michelle Adams at michelle@floridatheatre.com or Nicole Karlove at nicole@floridatheatre.com.
- You must apply for a marriage license in the State of Florida, which has a three-day waiting period.
- You must bring your marriage license and your photo IDs with you.

About the Florida Theatre Ball – Vegas-Style
Don’t miss “The Florida Theatre Ball: Vegas-Style,” presented by DEX Imaging on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the historic Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville.
Join us on May 18th as the nonprofit Florida Theatre is transformed into Vegas. The evening will support the Theatre's mission to enhance Northeast Florida's quality of life by bringing unique arts and entertainment experiences to our community and preserving a historic Jacksonville landmark.
The event is black tie or costume. Vegas colors are black, red, or gold. So, dust off your tux, shop for a new sequin dress, be Elvis with rhinestones, or be a Vegas showgirl complete with a feather headdress. The choice is yours.
Start the evening with complimentary valet parking for your pink Cadillac, pass the fire dancers under the Florida Theatre marquee, then head into the Theatre for a night of classic cocktails, get your picture taken with Elvis, get married or renew your vows, enjoy the infamous Vegas buffet by Well-Oiled Events, try your luck at Black Jack in the casino, bid on high roller auction items, and dance the night away with The Chris Thomas Project…and give the cage dancers and showgirls a run for their money.
Since the first Ball in 2013, The Florida Theatre Ball has raised over $1.7 million to preserve and maintain the majestic Theatre, which will turn 100 in 2027. Past themes have included The Big Easy, Hollywood, The Eighties, Studio 54, The Roaring Twenties, The Future, and The Fifties.
