[Jacksonville, FL – May 2, 2024] Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) officials will celebrate the start of several major construction projects that will greatly transform the travel experience at Jacksonville International Airport with a ceremonial groundbreaking for the third concourse (Concourse B), a bypass taxiway and an additional parking garage located near the terminal.
Once completed, Concourse B will provide six additional gates to grow airline operations, as well as new restaurants and amenities for passengers. A third parking garage, located within walking distance of the terminal, will provide several thousand new parking spaces to accommodate JAX Airport’s record-breaking growth in recent years.
