Programming includes laser shows, cosmic concerts and much more What: The Museum of Science & History (MOSH) will celebrate National Astronomy Day this spring (May 18) with exciting programming in its Bryan-Gooding Planetarium throughout the month. MOSH’s Planetarium, one of the largest single-lens planetariums in the United States, uses cutting edge technology to bring the night skies to life and entertain visitors of all ages. Diverse programs in the Planetarium include immersive productions studying deep space exploration, our dynamic planet and the human experience connecting all the dots in the universe. Daily live presentations and monthly themed programs are led by knowledgeable planetarium Educators piloting MOSH’s digital projection system. Programs this month include: - Daily Programming, including: Laser shows and Skies over Jacksonville, offered every day
- Silver Space Series, a program designed for seniors (55+) hosts the “You Are Here” event, May 22 beginning at 9 a.m.
- Cosmic Concerts, including: LaserCountry, LasRock, and The Beatles, May 18-19 and May 25-26
