JACKSONVILLE, FL, June 7, 2024 – The historic, nonprofit Florida Theatre held its annual fundraiser, The Florida Ball: Vegas-Style, presented by DEX Imaging, on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The organization’s signature fundraiser raised over $200,000 in support of the arts and culture in Downtown Jacksonville. Photos from the event can be found here. Since its creation, the event has raised more than $ 1,833,095.00 since 2013 to preserve and maintain the majestic 97-year-old Florida Theatre venue. Past themes have included The Big Easy, Hollywood, The Eighties, Studio 54, The Roaring Twenties, The Future, and The Fifties.
