Kristen Reed Joins England-Thims & Miller, Inc. as Planning Manager

June 7, 2024 — Jacksonville, Fla. — England-Thims & Miller, Inc. (ETM) is pleased to announce the addition of Kristen Reed as a Planning Manager in their Jacksonville office. Reed brings an extensive and creative background in urban and regional planning. In her new role, Reed’s experience and diverse expertise will serve long-term client partners on numerous private land development and public planning projects throughout North Florida. Reed’s start date in her new position was June 4. 

Reed joins ETM following a 24-year career with the City of Jacksonville, where she most recently served as the Chief of the Community Planning Division. During her tenure, she played a key role in the 2045 Comprehensive Plan, the long-range policy framework guiding growth and development in the City of Jacksonville, as well as helped establish the Adaptation Action Area Workgroup. Reed is eager to leverage the depth of her government experience to provide innovative solutions in her role as Planning Manager at ETM.

“I have learned so much from my incredible career working for the City of Jacksonville, and I look forward to building upon that foundational experience at ETM,” said Reed. “I have spent my professional life serving my community, and I plan to continue on that path in this new chapter.”
