(June 24, 2024]- The Jacksonville Symphony is proud to announce that its esteemed Music Director and Conductor Courtney Lewis has been invited to speak at Jacksonville's first Pride Month event, hosted by Mayor Deegan, on June 28 at 10 a.m. in the City Hall Atrium. This historic event will feature the city's first Mayoral Proclamation celebrating Pride Month, reflecting Jacksonville's commitment to inclusivity and diversity. Lewis was extended an invitation to share personal experiences and reflections on the importance of Pride Month and what it means to him. This event marks a significant step forward for Jacksonville, as it aims to foster a more inclusive environment for all its residents. This event is open to the public, and all community members are welcome to join in the celebration of diversity.
