Level the Playing Field Leadership Academy (LPFLA) Finds New Home in Downtown Jacksonville

VyStar Credit Union Welcomes LPFLA to 34 Forsyth St W
Jacksonville, FL — Level the Playing Field Leadership Academy (LPFLA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting boys of color from single-parent homes, is excited to announce its move to a new home in downtown Jacksonville. VyStar Credit Union has generously provided a space for LPFLA, welcoming them into their retail garage located at 34 Forsyth St W, right in the heart of downtown.
LPFLA’s mission is to empower young boys aged 10-12 through young adulthood by offering mentorship, academic support, mental and emotional wellness programs, digital literacy training, and financial literacy education. With this new location, LPFLA aims to create a safe and supportive environment where these boys can thrive.
Lonnie Marts Jr., former Jacksonville Jaguar and CEO and Co-Founder of LPFLA, expressed his gratitude: “I can’t thank VyStar’s leadership team enough for making this dream a reality for us. Brian Wolfburg, Patti McElroy, Kemal Gasper, and Natalie Brown have been instrumental in this two-year process. Our boys now have a place to call home!”
The LPFLA team invites the community to join them in celebrating this milestone and looks forward to continuing their impactful work in their new downtown Jacksonville space.
