Arble Baking Company Celebrates Grand Opening on May 20 |

Local family’s 40-year-old cookie recipe debuts in first storefront JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 8, 2023) – Arble Baking Company opens its first storefront location at 6765 Dunn Ave #327, with a grand opening celebration on May 20, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The community is also invited to attend their ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in partnership with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the owners, sample Arble’s baked goods and enjoy music, free merchandise and raffles. Husband and Wife, Veronica and Willis Anderson, have been baking small batch sweets for more than 40 years. What started as an after-work hobby turned into a way for them to financially support all four children through college. The storefront debut is led by the four siblings, Lamar, Alonza, Monica and Whitney, who wanted to continue the legacy of their parent’s cookies. “Our father spent 32 years serving the community as a local firefighter and quickly earned a second nickname as “The Cookie Man.’ said daughter, Monica Anderson. When you saw him, you knew cookies were close by. The relationships our parents built, coupled with the opportunities created for our family, established a passion for entrepreneurship and community service in each of us.” Arble Baking Company offers an array of delicious sweets including cookies, cupcakes and pies. They’re proud to serve locally-owned and roasted, Vantage Point Coffee. Arble’s cookies are small-batch baked ensuring a taste of home and feeling of family in each bite. Best-known for their famous oatmeal nut and classic chocolate chip cookies, the new storefront means guests can expect more sweet treats and small bite specials. “We take great pride in sharing our family’s cherished recipes with the community. Beyond that, we are committed to contributing to the economic development of the Northside and hope to inspire others to embark on their own business ventures here in Jacksonville,” said Willis Anderson.
